| MY TOOLS FOR TAPESTRY |
1.The black handled tool at top is a vintage punch hook. Punch hooking can be tough on fingernails when pulling loops. 2.Second down is the most popular tool. The rug hook.It has been used for generations to create tapestries and rugs. 3.The white handled tool is a very small latchhook and is small enough to be used in burlap. 4.Last is the standard latchhook. My favorite. With this tool you can put up to 12 colors in a 1/4 inch square to achieve magnificent detail.

I am an avid listener to Art's talk show (Coast to Coast AM) I created this tapestry in 1996 and sent it to Art and Ramona just after christmas. It was created using the standard latchhook. See Art's link for the unusual, Ufo's and other strange happenings on our planet. | ART & RAMONA BELL'S RUG
